How to Get Lumber in Pokémon Pokopia: Complete Guide

Lumber is one of the most important crafting materials in Pokopia. You'll need it for almost every build.

The Basics

Lumber is crafted by processing Small Logs using a Pokémon with the Chop specialty.

Chop Pokémon:

• Scyther (easiest to befriend early)
• Pinsir
• Heracross
• Scizor (Scyther's evolved form — attract as a separate dex entry; Pokopia has no evolve action)

Step-by-Step

1. Find Small Logs — Look for fallen logs throughout Cloud Island. They respawn daily.
2. Have a Chop Pokémon — Set a Chop Pokémon as your active partner
3. Approach the log — Your partner automatically chops it into Lumber
4. Collect — Each Small Log yields 2–4 Lumber

Farming Tips

• Best early spot: Tree-shaded Tall Grass area has the highest Small Log density
• Use Scyther first: Build a Tree-shaded Tall Grass habitat (Tall Grass × 4 + Large Tree × 1) to attract Scyther early
• Log respawn: Logs respawn every in-game day (real-time: 30 minutes)
• Storage: Build Storage Boxes early — you'll accumulate lumber fast
