The Basics

Lumber is crafted by processing Small Logs using a Pokémon with the Chop specialty.

Chop Pokémon:

Scyther (easiest to befriend early)
Pinsir
Heracross
Scizor (Scyther's evolved form — attract as a separate dex entry; Pokopia has no evolve action)

Find Small Logs — Look for fallen logs throughout Cloud Island. They respawn daily.
Have a Chop Pokémon — Set a Chop Pokémon as your active partner
Approach the log — Your partner automatically chops it into Lumber
Collect — Each Small Log yields 2–4 Lumber
