PokopiaMap uses Google AdSense and may work with other third-party advertising partners. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, limit, measure, and personalize ads based on visits to this and other sites.

Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads based on your visit to PokopiaMap and other websites.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to collect information as a result of ad serving on this website.

Where required by law, including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, PokopiaMap surfaces Google's Funding Choices consent prompt before using cookies or local storage for personalized advertising or before collecting, sharing, or using personal data for ads personalization. Funding Choices is an IAB TCF v2.2-certified Consent Management Platform and records your choice through the standard `__tcfapi` and `__gpp` interfaces that downstream advertising partners read.

If you decline personalized advertising where a consent choice is available, ads may still be shown based on contextual signals such as the page content, general location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, and anti-fraud signals.

You can reopen the consent prompt at any time from the Funding Choices privacy options control, or by clearing the relevant cookies in your browser.

We do not knowingly send Google information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or precise contact details, for ad personalization.

PokopiaMap is a general-audience fan guide and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We do not ask users to provide sensitive personal information such as health, financial, political, religious, biometric, or precise identity details for advertising or analytics.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact support@pokopiamap.com so we can review and delete it when applicable.

PokopiaMap does not request GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or similar precise location permissions from your device.

Advertising, analytics, security, and hosting partners may process approximate location inferred from IP address for fraud prevention, reporting, localization, or contextual ad delivery.

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand page views, clicks, scrolling behavior, general device and browser context, referrers, and other aggregate usage patterns.

These tools help us measure content quality, navigation friction, and site performance. They may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy terms.

We use Cloudflare to cache content, deliver pages and static assets, filter malicious traffic, and keep the site available.

Cloudflare may process IP address, request metadata, and strictly necessary security or challenge cookies or tokens when serving cached content or protecting the site from abuse.

PokopiaMap stores language selection and theme preference in first-party localStorage and a first-party cookie.

We also store on-device gameplay helpers such as collected Pokemon, favorites, and map found or hidden markers in browser storage. Some temporary list or filter states may be kept in sessionStorage.

These records stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them, and you can clear them in your browser at any time.

When you sign in through the Login or Sign Up pages, PokopiaMap sets a session cookie that links your current browser to your account. While that session is active, personal data such as collected Pokemon, favorites, map markers, and saved preferences is synced between your browser and our servers, so the same state follows you across browsers and devices.

Cross-device sync only runs while you are signed in. Without an active session, the data described under 'Browser Storage and Preferences' stays on the current device only. Signing out clears the session cookie and stops account-scoped requests, but locally stored copies of preferences remain on the device until you clear them in your browser.

Sync traffic between your browser and our servers is sent over HTTPS.

When you create an account or use account-related pages such as Login, Sign Up, Settings, My Island, My Game, Cloud Islands listing, individual Cloud Island detail pages, or password reset, PokopiaMap may process account and session data such as your email address, display name, authentication provider identifiers, session metadata, and basic anti-abuse signals needed to keep the service working.

If you submit island listings, cloud-island content, comments, likes, reports, notifications, photos, or similar user content from these account pages, we use that information to display the feature, operate sharing or moderation flows, investigate abuse, and enforce site rules.

Some information on account pages is intentionally visible to other users inside the product, while support, moderation, security, and audit records are limited to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and improve the service.

If you delete your account, we aim to remove or anonymize the related profile, sessions, and user-generated content according to the product's deletion flow, while retaining limited records where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or ad-related policy enforcement.

Temporary logs, backups, cached assets, and moderation evidence may persist for a limited period before they expire or are cleaned up through normal operational processes.

We do not sell personal data. We use information only to operate the site, support advertising, analyze usage, protect against abuse, and improve content.

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some browser storage choices may reset site preferences, collection progress, or saved tools.
