What the Hoppip event adds
While the event is active:
- Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff appear in your main island habitats
- Cotton Spores spawn on Dream Islands and can be picked up as event-only material
- Hoppip-themed habitat unlocks and recipes become available for the duration
Where Cotton Spores spawn
Cotton Spores spawn specifically on Dream Islands during the event. To reach a Dream Island you give a Pokémon doll to Drifloon and they carry you over. Any Dream Island you visit during the event will spawn Cotton Spores, so doll choice mainly affects terrain and side-resources, not Cotton Spore availability.
What Cloud Island users should know
Cloud Islands — the persistent online multiplayer islands — are explicitly excluded from this event. Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff cannot spawn on Cloud Islands while the event is active, and Cotton Spores will not appear there either. If you want event credit, run the event on your main island.
