Browse Cloud Islands on PokopiaMap: Find Co-op Lobbies by Stamp & Shop
How Cloud Island lobbies work in Pokémon Pokopia, and how to use PokopiaMap to browse public Cloud Islands filtered by stamp rarity and shop items.
Cloud Islands in Pokémon Pokopia are public co-op lobbies — anyone can join with the host's Cloud Island address, the host can stay offline, and progress on the island is shared by every player who walks in. The hard part is finding a Cloud Island worth your time. PokopiaMap's browse page indexes player-submitted lobbies so you can filter them the same way you'd filter a marketplace.
What you can actually find on a Cloud Island
Cloud Islands are not part of the campaign — they exist as their own persistent sandbox. Practically, two things drive whether one is worth joining:
- Stamps — daily tier rewards the host has placed on the island. Higher-rarity stamps mean the host is grinding hard tiers; joiners share that progress.
- Shop slots — the host can stock up to a handful of items in a small in-island shop. Recipes are the only purchases you can take back to your home town, so a shop with a rare recipe is the most useful kind of Cloud Island for a visitor.
Event Pokémon, event materials, and limited-time spawns are explicitly excluded from Cloud Islands by Game Freak's event announcements. If you're hunting an event, stay on your home island; if you're filling Pokédex slots or chasing recipes, browsing Cloud Islands is the fastest way.
Filtering Cloud Islands on PokopiaMap
PokopiaMap's browse view lets you sort and filter the public lobby list by:
- Today's stamp tier — find lobbies whose host has flipped a rare stamp today
- Shop items — search by recipe name or material; jump straight to lobbies stocking what you need
- Activity — recently active lobbies bubble up, dead ones drop off
- Comments and likes — quick UGC signals so you avoid empty lobbies
How to actually join a lobby
Browsing PokopiaMap surfaces the right lobby; the trip itself happens in-game:
- Find a Cloud Island you want on PokopiaMap and copy its Link Code
- Open Link Play from your in-game Pokémon Center PC
- Choose Cloud Island and paste the address
- You'll need Nintendo Switch Online; local wireless does not connect to Cloud Islands
Browse Cloud Islands on PokopiaMap: Find Co-op Lobbies by Stamp & Shop — FAQ
Is browsing Cloud Islands on PokopiaMap official?
No. PokopiaMap is a fan site that indexes player-submitted Cloud Island lobbies. The lobbies themselves run on Game Freak's online infrastructure — PokopiaMap just gives you a searchable view that the in-game UI doesn't.
Can I find Cloud Islands with event Pokémon?
No. Recent Pokopia events including the Hoppip and Sableye events explicitly state that Cloud Islands are excluded from event spawns. Filter by recipe or stamp rarity instead; for events, stay on your home town.
Do I need an account to browse?
Browsing is open to everyone. You only need to sign in if you want to leave a comment on a lobby, follow hosts, or list your own island.
