How to Attract Sudowoodo

Sudowoodo is a Rock-type Pokémon in Pokopia. You'll see it most reliably when Tree-shaded red tall grass and House party habitats are in place, with visits clustering around all day and sunny, cloudy, and rainy conditions.

Sudowoodo is rated Uncommon. Uncommon sits one step above the baseline: expect a visit within a day or two of placing the matching habitat, but don't expect it on the first sunrise after building.

To keep Sudowoodo returning, lean into the Trade specialty when laying out the habitat — Pokémon in Pokopia respond to matching gameplay loops more than to raw decor count. If a listed habitat isn't built yet, check the habitat guide cards below for the exact materials and placement notes; Sudowoodo usually shares its preferred habitats with a small cluster of related Pokémon, so the build pays off for more than just one entry.

Other Pokémon you'll see at the same habitats as Sudowoodo include Diglett, Dugtrio, and Bonsly. That overlap is why we recommend planning habitat builds around a cluster rather than a single entry: once the materials for Tree-shaded red tall grass are placed, you're effectively staking out spawns for the whole group at once, which is the fastest way to grow the Pokédex without redoing crafting work.

Sudowoodo is the evolved form of Bonsly in the wider Pokémon series. Pokopia does not include an evolve action, so attracting Sudowoodo means matching its own habitat conditions on this page — Bonsly stays a separate dex entry with its own attraction route.

Use the favourite toggle on this page if Sudowoodo is on your current dex priority — favourited entries surface in the planner's long-term goal list, and the habitat cards below link straight to the build recipes that gate the visit.

FAQ

Sudowoodo Pokopia — habitat, time, weather, evolution FAQ

  • How do I attract Sudowoodo?

Build the Tree-shaded red tall grass and House party habitats and wait for the all day / sunny, cloudy, and rainy window to open. Rarity tier is Uncommon, which sets how patient you need to be after the habitat is placed.

  • Which Pokémon share the same habitat as Sudowoodo?

Other Pokémon visiting at least one of Sudowoodo's habitats: Diglett, Dugtrio, and Bonsly. Building the habitat once unlocks the entire cluster, so plan around the group rather than the single entry.

  • Can I evolve Sudowoodo in Pokopia?

No — Pokopia doesn't include an evolve action. Sudowoodo is the evolved form of Bonsly in the wider Pokémon series, but in Pokopia both are independent dex entries. Attract Sudowoodo directly using the habitat conditions on this page rather than expecting Bonsly to transform into it.
