Date source
Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest is tracked as past with the displayed window Jul 2026 19-27. Use that dated window before spending materials or planning an exchange route.
Reward path
This event page links 1 Pokemon, 0 habitats, 10 items, and 14 exchange rewards so you can choose the actual target before grinding.
Next steps
Start with Talk to Zorua at a rebuilt Pokemon Center -> Complete Zorua's Bleak Beach request first. If a prerequisite is missing, pause the event grind and clear the blocker first.
After event
The event is no longer active, so treat rewards as archive/reference content unless the page or item card says the item returns in a later window.
Island mode
This event has an explicit Cloud Island note in the guide. Read it carefully: Main Island progress still owns the event route, while Cloud Islands are only valid when the guide names them.
How To Start

During the event window, Zorua appears only in a town with at least one rebuilt Pokemon Center. Speak with Zorua standing in front of that center to enter the contest.
The contest appears only after you complete Zorua's request in Bleak Beach and permanently unlock the regular hide-and-seek minigame.
Mechanics

Play repeated rounds and aim for the fastest clear. Your best completion time determines which special-item reward tier you reach.
After installing Version 2.0, hide-and-sneak can be canceled midway from an active round.

You can join the contest together in another player's town or on a Cloud Island. The fastest clear among all participants becomes that location's best record.
In another player's town, only the host receives the prize. On a Cloud Island, only the player who sets the best record receives it. Spectator mode cannot join the contest.
Strategy
Update Pokemon Pokopia to Ver. 1.1.1, set the Nintendo Switch 2 clock to the real local date and time, then launch the game while connected to the internet. The first activation requires an internet connection.
If you meet the unlock conditions during the event window, travel to another town or quit to the main menu and restart the game so the event can activate.
The event is supported on Cloud Islands. To play it online in your own town, talk to Zorua and hear the event explanation before starting the communication session; spectator mode is not supported.
